The Canterbury Story: Joys of Catholic Pilgrimage
In The Canterbury Tales, Geoffrey Chaucer describes a merry lot of men and women of the 14th century who found themselves thrown together on a pilgrimage from London to the cathedral at Canterbury (which was Catholic then).
Hassle-free Catholic pilgrimages—to anywhere
The Canterbury Tales are an impressive testimonial to the joys of pilgrimage. While there were some downsides for Chaucer's imagined characters, we do our best to ensure the easiest and most enjoyable travel experience possible. We orchestrate and host our pilgrimages as if we were hosting our own family celebration. Don't want to go down the beaten path on a pilgrimage we already planned? We will work with you to bring a group where you would like to go. Are you worried about the hassel of traveling in the United States or abroad? Our job is to make it easy for you. We coordinate where you stay, your breakfasts and dinners each day, the sites you see, and the people who join the group. It doesn't matter which state you live in, either; we will work with you to bring you the best, individualized journey we possibly can, no matter where you are. We even have bilingual pilgrimages!
A unique Catholic journey for your unique faith
Lives are changed on our pilgrimages because instead of worrying about hotels, hospices, transportation, and food, our guests get the freedom to focus on their unique Catholic experience while we take care of the rest. You aren't just another member of a group or another number on a seating chart when you work with Canterbury Pilgrimages; your individual journey to enliven your Catholic faith, reinvigorate your spirituality, and fall in love with God all over again is why we are so dedicated to your pilgrimage well-being. We know that our pilgrimages are a special experience for our guests, and we remember that in everything we do.
