Your Pilgrimage Itinerary...

August 20: Today we depart Reno for Poland on an overnight flight to Kraków.

August 21: Arrival into Kraków where we will meet our Canterbury escort who will assist us throughout the journey. Our first visit will be at the convent at Łagiewniki where St. Faustina spent the last two years of her life. There will be time for us to pray before the miraculous image of the Divine Mercy and at the chapel where St. Faustina is entombed. Before departing the shrine, Fr. Benito will celebrate Mass. Next, we’ll visit the historic church of Nowa Huta followed by hotel check-in and welcome dinner. Overnight Kraków

August 22: Today we visit Auschwitz. We’ll see and pray at the tiny cell where St. Maximilian Kolbe died. Next, we visit Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla (St. John Paul II) and see the church he attended and was baptized in. Back to Kraków for dinner where we will visit the quaint streets and cafés. Overnight Kraków

August 23: Today we tour Kraków. Not ruined by the war, it stands as a medieval treasure house, full of architectural and artistic heritage. We’ll visit the imposing Wawel Castle, former seat of Polish regal authority, and the Wawel Cathedral with its tombs of Polish monarchs. We’ll explore Kraków’s Market Square and hear the silver trumpet of the bugler from St. Mary’s Tower. Next, we visit the oldest shrine in Kraków, the Skałka. This afternoon we will visit the salt mines of Wieliczka, the oldest in Europe. Well below the surface, we’ll marvel at the carvings in the rock salt. Overnight Kraków

August 24: Following breakfast, we will make our way to the airport to catch our flight to Split, Croatia. Upon arrival we will transfer by motor coach for the village of Medjugorje. On arrival, we will get acquainted with the shrine which will be our home for the following two nights.  Overnight Medjugorje

August 25: Experience the beauty and peace of this simple village. During our stay in Medjugorje we will have the opportunity to share faith with thousands of pilgrims from all over the world. Your local guide will accompany you throughout the week. Here are some of the activities you will be sharing with your fellow pilgrims: 10am you assemble at St James Church for the English-language Mass (Feast days and Sundays English Mass is at Noon). Follow the same path up Apparition Hill where the young visionaries first encountered Our Lady. Touch and pray before the statue that commemorates the spot where Mary first appeared to the visionaries. Overnight Medjugorje

August 26: Toady we depart for Paris, France. Upon our arrival in Paris, we will take a panoramic tour of some of the most important sights in The City of Light to familiarize us with the capital of France, we also visit Versailles. Overnight Paris.

August 27: Visit to the Sanctuary of the Miraculous Medal and the Cathedral of Notre Dame; we then enjoy a panoramic tour of the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe, the Invalides and the Basilica of the Sacré-Coeur in Montmartre. Dinner followed by a boat ride on the Seine where will see the illuminated Eiffel tower. Overnight Paris.

August 28: Today we will continue to Lisieux, the home of St. Thérèse. We visit the places where St. Thérèse lived, “Les Buissonnets” family house, and Carmelite convent where we’ll see the chapel and museum of relics. Overnight Paris.

August 29: Today we depart by plane to Lourdes. Arrival at our hotel, followed by participation in the religious ceremonies of the Sanctuary of Lourdes. After dinner, we participate in the Candlelight Rosary Procession. Overnight Lourdes.

August 30: Visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, the Cave of Apparitions, the Basilicas and the House of St. Bernadette. In the afternoon we’ll have free time to participate in the ceremonies of the Sanctuary and bathe in the miraculous waters. After dinner, we participate in the Candlelight Rosary Procession. Overnight Lourdes.

August 31: Today we will travel to Fatima, Portugal by plane.  Upon arrival into Lisbon we transfer by motor coach into Fatima for hotel check in. Following dinner, we’ll participate in the evening candlelight procession. Overnight Fátima.

September 1: Today visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, built in the place where the Virgin appeared to Lucia, Jacinta, and Francisco. We visit the Basilica of the Rosary and Holy Trinity and in the afternoon, visit the houses of the shepherds in Aljustrel. Following our visits, we are received by a family of the town for a wine tasting and samples of the traditional Portuguese food. Following dinner, we’ll participate in the evening candlelight procession. Overnight Fátima.

September 2: This morning we say goodbye to the Virgin of Fátima as we board our flight back to the U.S.
