February 25  We meet our fellow pilgrims at the airport and embark on our flight to Mexico City. Upon arrival, we’ll meet our guide and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight Mexico City

February 26  Morning visit to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Patroness of the Americas), the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Guadalupe was built at the request of the Virgin to Juan Diego. We will visit the Plaza of the 3 cultures that symbolizes the unique Pre-Hispanic framework and represent the Hispanic cultures in Mexico. In our visit to the Sanctuary we will have the opportunity to participate in the Mass at Basilica. After the Mass, we will have time to venerate the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, imprinted miraculously on a “Tilma.” Then head to San Juan Teotihuacán, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Time for lunch and to explore. Overnight Mexico City

February 27  Today we will visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and the tomb of Bishop Zumarraga, who had a vision of the Virgin Mary. We will continue on to the Palace and the National Museum of Anthropology, followed by lunch time at the Xochimilco Gardens, also known as the Floating Gardens. In the afternoon, we will visit Santo Domingo, the first church built by Dominicans in 1576. We will also visit the first Sanctuary of the Rosary in Mexico and the Virgin of Covadonga. February 28  After breakfast, we will depart for Puebla to visit the Cathedral, the Rosario Chapel and the Church of Santo Domingo, which is considered the eighth Wonder of the World. Mass is celebrated before we have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will return to Mexico City for dinner. Overnight Mexico City

March 1  Departure by bus to Tulpetlac, the site of the 5th apparition of the Holy Virgin where Our Lady healed Juan Bernardino, the uncle of San Juan Diego. We celebrate Holy Mass and our trip continues to the archaeological zone of San Juan de Teotihuacán where we will visit the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. We see the temple of Quetzalcoatl, the temples of the Jaguars and the Butterflies, and the Street of the Dead.  Tonight, we gather for our farewell dinner with traditional Mexican cuisine and Mariachi music. March 2  This morning we will visit and have the opportunity for Mass at the Church where Blessed Fr. Miguel Pro, S.J. served. Fr. Miguel was martyred for his faith last century under the Calles Regime. Refreshed and spiritually invigorated, we transfer to the airport for our flight back home.
