We’ll depart Los Angeles on our evening flight to Rome, Italy. Drinks and meals will be served on board.

Upon arrival in Rome, we’ll collect our luggage and meet with our tour guide. We’ll board the coach and head to Assisi to check into our hotel, then enjoy a welcome dinner in the evening. Overnight in Assisi, Italy.

After breakfast, we’ll begin the day in the town of Assisi, starting in the lower part of the city, visiting Santa Maria degli Angeli, where St. Francis spent much of his life. We’ll explore the Porziuncola Chapel, the rose garden, and the cave where the saint retreated to pray. Next, we’ll head to the Church of St. Clare to contemplate the saint’s body, which has remained incorrupt for centuries since her death. St. Clare was the founder of the Order of Poor Clares. We’ll have free time for lunch in Piazza della Comuna, followed by a visit to St. Mary Major. Today we’ll also visit the Basilica of St. Francis, where the Father will celebrate Holy Mass. Finally, we’ll have time to visit the Shrine of the Spoliation, where the remains of the ancient St. Charles Acutis rest, and learn more about his life and spirituality. After breakfast, today we will head to San Giovanni. Along the way, we will visit the town of Loreto and celebrate Mass at the Basilica of Santa Casa, which houses the Holy House of Loreto. Continuing our journey, we will visit Lanciano, site of the 8th-century Eucharistic Miracle. Finally, we will head to San Giovanni Rotondo to visit the shrine of Padre Pio. After breakfast, today is dedicated to the town where Saint Padre Pio lived most of his life. We will visit the Church of Santa Maria Della Grazie, where Padre Pio’s tomb is located, and celebrate Mass. In the afternoon, we will visit the Sanctuary of Monte Sant’Angelo. Dinner and overnight stay will be in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy.

After breakfast, we’ll take a scenic bus ride to Monte Cassino, the site of the ancient Roman city of Casinum. Our first stop will be the Benedictine Abbey of Monte Cassino, the original seat of the Benedictine Order, founded by Saint Benedict around 529. Here we’ll enjoy lunch and celebrate Mass. In the afternoon, we’ll travel to Rome. Dinner and overnight in Rome, Italy.

After breakfast, we’ll head to St. Peter’s Square for the general audience with Pope Leo XIV (subject to his schedule). Afterward, we’ll celebrate a private Mass nearby. After a brief lunch, we’ll visit the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica, marveling at their incredible art and history. Today, we’ll pass through the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica. Dinner and overnight in Rome, Italy.

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a historical tour of Ancient Rome. We’ll stroll along cobblestone streets lined with majestic umbrella pines and visit the Colosseum, a great amphitheater of the ancient world. Along the way, we’ll stop for prayer at the Basilica of San Clemente. As we pass through the Roman Forum, we’ll admire the ruins of ancient government buildings. Free afternoon to explore Rome on your own. Dinner and overnight in Rome, Italy.

After breakfast, we will visit and have the opportunity to pass through the Holy Doors of the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, the Basilica of St. Mary Major, and the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, symbolizing the passage into God’s presence through our Lord Jesus Christ, who called himself the “Door.” Those who pass through the Holy Door may also receive a plenary indulgence. At the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, we will also have the opportunity to climb the Lateran Steps and attend Mass. Dinner and overnight in Rome, Italy.

With a renewed sense of pilgrimage and a renewed love for our Catholic faith, we will transfer to Rome Fiumicino Airport and board our flight home. Drinks and meals will be served on board.
