Members from more than one parish

Councils and chapters usually draw from several parishes, sometimes across a whole region, so the group is assembled rather than announced from one pulpit. We give you the brochure and the emails to reach every parish your members come from.

A chaplain where you have one

Where your organisation has a chaplain he celebrates Mass for the group each day and hears confessions along the way. Where it does not, we arrange for the group to attend a public Mass, usually in the local language, and a chaplain can be arranged on request.

The first conversation

You tell us roughly where the group wants to go, when, and how many members you expect. We build a draft itinerary and a price from that, with no deposit and no commitment until the plan is right.How it works →

Promotion to your members

Every trip gets its own brochure and we mail 250 printed copies to the leader, with sample text for a newsletter or bulletin and an email ready to send to the membership. Graphics are made on request.How to promote it →

Registrations and payments

Canterbury takes the registrations, the deposits and the balances directly from each member, so your treasurer is not collecting cheques or chasing payments.Common questions →

The leader travels free

A different kind of group?

We build the same trip for a parish, a diocese, a school, a youth group, or a seminary or religious community. We also build pilgrimages to mark a priest’s anniversary. Tell us what the group is and we will build around it.

Do we need a chaplain of our own?

Our members come from several parishes. Is that a problem?

No, it is the normal case. You get the brochure, the printed copies and the emails to reach every parish your members come from, and each member registers and pays Canterbury directly wherever they worship.

How far ahead should we start?

Most groups start eight to thirteen months out, and assembling members from several parishes takes longer than filling a trip from one, so the earlier end of that window is the safer one.

Who collects the money?

We do. Each member registers and pays Canterbury directly, so your treasurer is not handling deposits, balances or refunds.
