Gratuities are appreciated but not required. As a general guideline, per person: $8 to $10 a day for your tour manager, who travels with you for the whole pilgrimage; $2 to $4 for each day with a local guide (about $2 for a half day, $4 for a full day); and $6 to $8 a day for your driver, assuming you’re happy with the service.
