What is Cancel Anytime, and how does it work?

Cancel Anytime is part of our Classic with Cancel Anytime plan from Allianz. It lets you cancel for almost any unexpected reason that isn’t already covered by the policy, and reimburses up to 80% of your trip cost. Two things are important to know before you rely on it. First, the plan has to be purchased within 14 days of your initial deposit and can’t be added after that, so if it appeals to you it’s worth sorting out early (see “When should I buy travel insurance?”). Second, it isn’t available to residents of New York or Washington; if you live in either state, our Classic and Basic plans are still available to you.
