CCC rates accommodations using a numeric/plus tier system: 1, 2, 3, 4, 4-Plus, 4-Premium, 5, 5-Plus, 5-Premium, and so on, similar to a hotel star rating. Some trip pages list an exact named hotel, but that hotel may change to a comparable one within the same tier if needed. You’ll receive your final hotel confirmations 20 to 30 days before departure in the Canterbury mobile app.
We don’t currently rate pilgrimages on a formal activity scale, but most days involve a good amount of walking, including uneven terrain and stairs at historic sites. If you have concerns about mobility, let us know in advance through the Pilgrim Portal so we can help you plan.
