Yes. We can add your Known Traveler Number, which is what TSA PreCheck and Global Entry use, to your flight booking. You can either enter it yourself in the Pilgrim Portal or send it to us at hello@canterburypilgrimages.com and we’ll add it for you, whichever is easier. It’s worth adding, though it doesn’t guarantee that PreCheck will appear on every boarding pass, since that’s decided by TSA and the airline rather than by us. You can book a single, double, twin, or triple room. It’s worth knowing the difference between a double and a twin, since the two are often confused: a double has one bed, and a twin has two separate beds. The arrangement you book is guaranteed, so if you’re traveling with a friend, a sibling, or a fellow religious and you book a twin, you will have two separate beds. A single room carries an additional single supplement, which varies by trip, and triples are available if you’d like three travelers to share. Airport security rules are set by TSA and by the authorities in the countries you travel through, and they do change, so it’s worth checking tsa.gov before you fly. As a general guide, liquids in your carry-on need to be in containers of 3.4 ounces (100 ml) or less, together in a single quart-sized clear bag. Medications are treated more flexibly than other liquids and are generally allowed in larger quantities, but pack them in your carry-on rather than your checked bag, keep them in their original labeled containers, and allow a little extra time at security in case they need to be inspected.
