Canterbury Pilgrimages

About 30 days before departure, we’ll mail you a pilgrim travel kit that includes your airline information (if applicable), a final travel information letter, a keepsake book, a Magnificat prayer book, and custom name and luggage tags. You’ll also receive an invite to the Canterbury mobile app to access your itinerary.

For Canterbury Pilgrimages-arranged group flights: one free checked bag (about 50 lbs / 23 kg, up to 62 inches / 157 cm total dimensions), one free carry-on (about 21x15x9 inches, up to 17 lbs / 7.5 kg), and one free personal item (about 17x13x9 inches). Connecting flights within Europe not tied to your transatlantic flight may have lower limits, these will be detailed in your final travel documents.

Yes, we recommend bringing a universal power adapter for your electronics, since outlet types vary by country.

Most of Europe and the Holy Land take a Type C adapter, England, Scotland and Ireland take Type G, and the United States, Canada, Mexico and Japan need none. Check the label on each charger too: anything that reads 100–240V needs only the adapter, while a 120V hair dryer needs a converter. See the plug type for every country we visit, and where to buy the right adapter.
