An extension is an optional add-on trip tacked onto the end of your main pilgrimage, letting you visit an additional destination while you’re already overseas. For example, some Portugal and Fatima pilgrimages offer an optional Lourdes extension. Availability varies by trip, so check your specific pilgrimage’s offerings or ask us directly.

“Land Only” (sometimes called “Ground Only”) means your package doesn’t include group airfare. You arrange your own flights, and we take care of everything on the ground, including hotels, meals, guides, and transfers. If you choose this option, just email your arrival and departure flight details to hello@canterburypilgrimages.com so we can coordinate your transfers.
